Single or double-sided documents

When you place your order you can select whether your document is single-sided or double-sided. This helps us estimate the amount of translation work and the number of notarised pages required.

• Single-sided document: For example, a one-page Malaysian birth certificate or a one-page marriage certificate. Usually charged at 150 SGD per document.
• Double-sided document: For example a document that has information on the front and back or Borang K. Usually charged at 180 SGD per document.

1. What is the difference between a certified and a notarised translation?

Certified translation includes a signed statement from the translator or translation company confirming that the translation is complete and accurate. Notarised translation adds an extra layer. A notary public verifies the identity of the person signing the certification and witnesses the signature. Some authorities accept certified translations, while others request notarised translations or specify that a notary public must be involved.

2. Can I use this service for ICA applications?

If your notarised documents are not accepted by a Singapore or Canadian authority because of an issue with our translation or notarisation, contact us within 14 days and share the rejection details. We will investigate and either correct the documents at no additional cost or provide a full refund in line with our guarantee.
