NOTE:
*Notarisation is required for submission to ICA and Singaporean authorities
We prepare notarised translations specifically for authorities that expect or require notary involvement. In Singapore, this includes applications to ICA, MOM, ACRA, ROM, LTA and other agencies that request notarised translations. Many Canadian authorities and institutions also use notarised translations as part of their document requirements.
Acceptance guarantee. If your notarised documents are not accepted by ICA, MOM, ROM, ACRA or another stated authority because of an issue with our work, we will correct the problem or provide a full refund within 14 days.
When you place your order you can select whether your document is single-sided or double-sided. This helps us estimate the amount of translation work and the number of notarised pages required.
If your document is more complex than these examples, upload a clear copy when you request a quote and we will confirm the fee before you pay.
You can complete the entire process online in four simple steps.
1. What is the difference between a certified and a notarised translation?
Certified translation includes a signed statement from the translator or translation company confirming that the translation is complete and accurate. Notarised translation adds an extra layer. A notary public verifies the identity of the person signing the certification and witnesses the signature. Some authorities accept certified translations, while others request notarised translations or specify that a notary public must be involved.
2. Can I use this service for ICA applications?
Yes, this service is suitable when your ICA instructions or your professional adviser indicate that you should submit notarised translations. For some ICA applications a certified translation alone may be enough. If you are not sure which option applies to your case, upload your documents and checklist and we will review them with you.
3. Can I use this service for Canadian authorities?
Many Canadian authorities accept notarised translations, especially where the instructions mention notary involvement or sworn translations. You should always refer to the latest instructions from your Canadian authority or institution. If you share those instructions with us, we can help confirm whether this notarised translation service is suitable.
4. Do you need my original documents?
For translation we usually only need clear scanned copies or photos of your original Malaysian documents. For notarisation, the notary public may need to see the original document in certain situations. If original documents are required for your case, we will tell you what is needed and how to proceed safely.
5. How many notarised copies will I receive?
By default most clients order one set of notarised hardcopy documents. If you need additional sets for different applications, you can tell us during the quote stage and we will include them in your quote.
6. What happens if my notarised documents are not accepted?
If your notarised documents are not accepted by a Singapore or Canadian authority because of an issue with our translation or notarisation, contact us within 14 days and share the rejection details. We will investigate and either correct the documents at no additional cost or provide a full refund in line with our guarantee.
